BOROUME - Helping those in need

Xenia Papastavrou, 1994 Campion graduate, has been instrumental in assisting those hard hit by Greece's economic crisis.
Her not-for-profit organisation BOROUME has had a pivotal role in assisting soup kitchens locate supplies of surplus food to feed Athens' growing number of homeless.

Campion on the Big Screen


Campion has always had a very active and rich Theatre Arts Department and occasionally some of the stars of the Campion stage make it onto the screen in later life.

Mert Yavuzcan, who attended Campion from 1991-1995. Mert, who was born in Germany, went on to finish high school in Turkey after he left Campion and attended acting school in Bilkent. Mert had a major role in Campion's production of South Pacific in 1994 and the following year was the Master of Ceremonies in the 1995 school production of Caberet. Mert was recently on Mega channel in  the Turkish series Moiraios Erotas!

Melia Kreiling, alumna 2003, was known at Campion for her love of dance and went on to study dance and drama in the UK after graduation. In her brief career, amongst other roles, Melia has played a small part in The Borgias, a TV series about crime in 15th century Italy starring Jeremy Irons.
