John Consolas 1996

Campion alumnus John Consolas (1996) studied architecture at Bath University (1997-2003), Architectural Photography at London College of Communication (2006) and European Property Development and Planning at UCL (2006-2009).

John then went on to work as an architect in London, New York and Athens. He has also worked as a project manager for large commercial developments in Greece and Romania.  John continued to occasionally work in the family hostel business until one day he decided to combine all his talents and make a little bnb of his own in central Athens.

John’s hotel is called the Alice Inn Athens and has been open for about a year. The concept is a boutique bnb with a very cosy, homelike feel. It comprises four small apartments in a neoclassical townhouse in Plaka near to Syntagma Square and the Acropolis.

Apartments are available for short and long term stays (3 days to 3 months).

International clientele ranges from visiting academics to hip young couples to relocating expats, generally people with taste who don't want the typical hotel experience.

Stella is a graduate student in film at NYU and has entered this short film in the Greek America Foundation film contest. Let's hope she wins! Help Stella by clicking 'like' on Youtube.
